OhioHealth considers applicants who are U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees and refugees, and other individuals with work authorizations that do not require visa sponsorship by the training hospital.

How to Apply

OhioHealth believes in a holistic review of applicants. We are looking for those who align with the mission and aims of the specific program and will benefit from the training we are able to provide. Applicants are assessed using the application materials noted below and during the interview process, which includes time with our faculty and residents. Information considered for interview selection includes the following:

  • Medical Student Performance Evaluations
  • Personal Statement
  • Graduation Dates (within past three years preferred)
  • Medical School Transcripts
  • USMLE OR COMLEX Part 1 & 2 (if completed)
  • Reference Letters – varies. Please refer to ERAS or the program application for specific number of letters required.
  • Additional factors considered may include interest or experience in areas related to the mission, vision, and values of our organization

The system interview dates table lists the dates of the planned interview season. Candidates will be invited to interview on a rolling basis during the interview window and should expect to hear in advance of the last day of scheduled interviews. All candidates will be given time to respond after being invited. Additional details regarding the interview season may be found on the program website or by searching FREIDA™ AMA Residency & Fellowship Programs Database (ama-assn.org).
