Meet Keith Hartzell, Esq.

Keith Hartzell, Esq. serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for OhioHealth, bringing decades of extensive legal expertise and a deep understanding of healthcare business operations to the organization. Keith is a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic legal counsel on a wide array of matters critical to the health system's growth and integrity.

Since joining OhioHealth in 2004, Keith has played an instrumental role in shaping the organization's strategic expansion and operational excellence. Prior to being appointed to the role of General Counsel, he served as the Deputy General Counsel of OhioHealth for seven years. Keith has been directly responsible for leading and managing the transactions that drive the system's growth initiatives and long-term strategy and has provided essential counsel on corporate governance practices throughout the organization.

Prior to joining OhioHealth, Keith was in private practice in both Detroit and Columbus. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Michigan State University and received his law degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Keith resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
